Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 2026

Habit Tracker is provided by Nico Schroeder. This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you use the app.

Data You Create

Habits, goals, logs, notes, reminders, skip reasons, reflections, quest activity, and settings are stored on your device. When iCloud is enabled, Apple may sync this data through your private iCloud account.

Apple Health

If you connect a habit to Apple Health, the app reads the Health data needed for that habit, such as steps, workouts, mindfulness minutes, sleep, water, energy, nutrition, or other selected Health metrics. Health data is used only to update your linked habits or quest goals. Raw Apple Health data is not sent to our own server.

Quest Sharing

Shared quests use Apple iCloud sharing. Shared quest goals, participants, and quest logs may be visible to the people who are part of the same quest. Private habit notes and private habit logs are not shared through quests.

Analytics

Habit Tracker uses Google Analytics for Firebase for free users to understand general app usage and improve the product. Analytics events are intentionally generic. Habit titles, notes, Health values, skip reasons, and other personal habit content are not sent as analytics data. Analytics collection is disabled for PRO users.

Purchases and Subscriptions

Purchases, subscriptions, trials, billing, cancellation, and refunds are handled by Apple through the App Store. The app receives entitlement information from Apple so it can unlock PRO features.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, the app schedules local reminders on your device. Notification settings can be changed in the app or in iOS Settings.

Your Choices

You can edit or delete habits and logs in the app, disconnect Apple Health for individual habits, change notification permissions, and manage iCloud or Health access in iOS Settings.
