Prompterly is provided by Nico Schroeder. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the app.

Prompterly is designed so that core functionality works primarily on your device. The app does not use advertising SDKs.

Information We Collect

Prompterly does not require you to create an account and does not intentionally collect personal information for advertising or user tracking purposes.

The content you create in the app, such as scripts, recordings, thumbnails, and related metadata, is stored locally on your device and within the app's own storage. If optional platform services such as Apple in-app purchases are used, Apple may process information necessary to complete those transactions under Apple's own terms and privacy policies.

Analytics

Prompterly may use Google Analytics for Firebase for users without an active Pro upgrade. Analytics is used to understand general app usage, improve app quality, and prioritize future improvements. Prompterly does not send script contents, recordings, thumbnails, speaker names, file names, local network details, or teleprompter text as analytics events.

When an active Pro upgrade is detected, analytics collection is disabled in the app. The Pro upgrade may therefore be presented as a privacy-related benefit inside the paywall.

Permissions and On-Device Processing

Prompterly may request access to device features such as the camera, microphone, speech recognition, photo library, or local network where needed for app functionality. These permissions are used only to provide the corresponding features inside the app, such as recording video, capturing audio, controlling teleprompter behavior, exporting media, or enabling browser-based remote use on the same local network.

Network Use

Prompterly currently does not require a general internet connection for normal use. Browser-based remote features use your local network or the same Wi-Fi network as the device running the app. If internet-connected features such as cloud sync are introduced in the future, this Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect those changes.

Data Sharing

Nico Schroeder does not sell your personal information and does not share your app-created content with advertising networks. Information may only be disclosed where required by law, to protect legal rights, to operate lawful business functions, or as described above for analytics in the free version of the app.

Data Retention

Data you create in Prompterly remains stored until you delete it from the app or remove the app from your device, subject to any backups or platform-level storage behavior controlled by Apple or your own device settings.

Children's Privacy

Prompterly is not directed specifically to children under the age of 13, and Nico Schroeder does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Updated versions will be posted in the app or through the associated legal page. Continued use of Prompterly after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
